What should be paid attention to when composite bearing is used?
1. Keep the bearing and its surrounding environment clean
Even if the bearing wear and tear will not increase the vibration of the bearing.
2. Use the device carefully
It is not allowed to punch strongly, to knock the bearing directly with hammer, and to transmit pressure through rolling element for dry bearing.
3. Use appropriate and accurate equipment and tools
Try to use special tools and try to prevent the use of cloth and staple fiber.
4. Avoid corrosion of bearing
When taking the bearing directly by hand, it is necessary to wash off the sweat from the hands and coat it with high-quality mineral oil before stopping the operation. Pay special attention to rust prevention in rainy season and summer.
However, under some special operating conditions, the bearing can achieve a life better than traditional calculation, especially under light load. These special operating conditions are the appearance damage that may occur when the rolling surface (track and rolling element) is effectively separated and limited by a smooth oil film. In fact, under ideal conditions, the so-called eternal bearing life is possible.
Warm reminder: bearings should be placed in a monotonous, ventilated and flat site, and should be separated from chemicals and other corrosive articles during storage. If multiple sets of bearings need to be stacked, more than three equal height wood blocks should be placed between each set along the circumferential direction, and the upper and lower cushion blocks should be placed at different positions. If the bearing still needs to be stored beyond the anti rust period, the cleaning and anti rust treatment should be stopped again.
