Oil free bearing is a new type of bearing which has the characteristics of metal bearing and oil-free lubrication bearing. Oil free bearings mainly include gas lubricated bearings, composite lubricated bearings and water lubricated bearings.
Lubrication gas bearing
Gas lubricated bearing is a kind of sliding bearing with gas as lubricant. The most commonly used gas lubricant is air, and nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium, etc. can also be used as required. The mechanism of bearing gas film formed by gas lubricated bearing is the same as that of liquid lubricated bearing. The gas lubricated bearing makes use of the transmissibility, diffusivity, viscosity and thermal conductivity, adsorption and compressibility of gas to form a complete gas film between friction pairs under the action of hydrodynamic pressure effect, static pressure effect and extrusion effect, which has the function of supporting load and reducing friction.
Gas lubricated bearings are generally divided into three types: gas dynamic pressure bearing, gas static pressure bearing and gas extrusion bearing. The actual bearing lubrication state often exists in the form of dynamic and static pressure, dynamic, extrusion, static, extrusion and mixed lubrication of dynamic, static and extrusion. The mechanism of bearing gas film formed by gas lubricated bearing is the same as that of liquid lubricated bearing.
2. Composite lubricated bearing
Due to the requirements of special production process, some key equipment of industrial and mining enterprises operate under extremely bad working conditions. Due to heavy equipment, high ambient temperature, large dust or acid corrosive gas in the air. It brings a lot of problems to the lubrication of the equipment. The friction and wear are serious. It is very easy to bite or bite the bearing and other friction pairs, causing serious parts wear and damage, and often leading to equipment shutdown.
Composite material used in composite lubrication bearing is a new type of anti extreme pressure solid lubrication material, which is composed of metal substrate and solid lubricant paste embedded in the hole or groove of the substrate. In the process of friction, the metal substrate bears most of the load. After friction, the solid lubricant in the hole or groove transfers or reverses to the friction surface, forming a solid transfer film with good lubrication, firm adhesion and uniform coverage on the friction surface, which greatly reduces the friction and wear. With the friction going on, the embedded solid lubricant is continuously provided to the friction surface, which ensures the good lubrication of the friction pair during long-term operation.
3. Water lubricated bearing
Since the oil resource crisis appeared in the 1970s and people pay more attention to environmental protection in recent years, oil pressure transmission technology is facing severe challenges, and water lubricated bearing has been gradually popularized and applied. Water lubricated bearings use water as the lubricating and working medium, which not only saves a lot of oil, but also avoids the environmental pollution caused by the traditional bearings with oil as the lubricating medium. At the same time, water has the advantages of no pollution, wide source, safety and flame retardant, so it is an ideal lubricating medium. It can also reduce the friction, wear, vibration, noise, no function consumption and other key problems. Therefore, the research of water lubricated bearing has important theoretical research and application value for improving the mechanical efficiency and protecting the environment, and has become a hot spot in the world.
