safety of the bearing grease is very important for the rolling bearing.
The general recommendation is to use the thicker No. 3 grease for the
gear pump bearing instead of the grease with smaller consistency. On the contrary, in order to reduce the rotation of the bearing,
especially the start-up time, it is advisable to use low-consistency
greases for bearings with low normal rotational speed.
The
plastic viscosity of the grease is greater than the viscosity of the
base oil, while the grease film is clear and elastic, so its load
capacity is greater than the base oil. As
long as the viscosity of the base sliding oil-free bushing SF-1 oil is
adequate, the resistance of the grease to load capacity is unsuccessful. Under the conditions of boundary lubrication or extreme pressure
lubrication, additives are mainly used to improve the wear resistance
and the extreme pressure function of the steel sleeve bearings to meet
the lubrication requirements.
Correct use of grease requires knowledge of the movement of the grease in the bearing. The movement of the grease filled in the rolling bearing can generally be divided into two phases as the bearing rotates. Under
normal circumstances, the amount of grease filled in the bearing always
exceeds the theoretical demand for direct participation in lubrication.
In the initial stage of the bearing crucible, most of the grease is
pushed out of the raceway very quickly (less than one minute). It accumulates in the cavity that holds the frame and the bearing cover, and forms a contour in the center of the rolling body. In this process, due to the excess grease resistance, the bearing temperature rises quickly. Although
most of the excess grease is squeezed out at the beginning of the
operation, the grease squeezing on the raceway attachment can still be
brought into the raceway by the rolling elements. These greases are gradually discharged in large quantities while circulating with the bearing rotor. At this time, the bearing of Wenzhou will continue to rise until the excess grease is discharged.
It can be called the walking stage of grease. According to the quality
of the grease in the bearing structure, the filling amount and other
factors, this time can last ten minutes or even several hours.
After
the remaining grease is completely discharged, the remaining large
amount of grease forms a thin film of grease on the contact surfaces of
the rolling elements, the raceways, and the holding frame, thereby
entering the normal stage of the bearing. . At this time the temperature gradually drops and reaches a balanced shape. In other words, temporary lubrication is mainly based on the grease film. In
addition, during the temporary operation of the bearing, the grease on
the contours of the rolling elements and the raceway and on the mounting
brackets should be shrunk and a portion of the base oil should be
separated. After flowing into the raceway, the lubrication can also be
supplemented. .
The
opening of the different greases in the bearing is not the same as the
profile, it must constitute a relatively sketchy draft, short closing
time, in the temporary operation of the bearing temperature is low, and
bumps, this is an ideal lubrication Grease, so it is particularly important for the channeling of grease.
Some
so-called vortex greases are not so easy to form contours, even if the
contours are also easy to collapse, then the excess grease that has
repeatedly returned to the raceway is temporarily in a state of strong
column mixing, the bearing has a large torque, and the temperature is
high, and Unbalanced, it can also cause noise, grease is also easy to metamorphose and loss.
