pump casing. Because
the pressure of the oil outlet chamber is higher than that of the oil
inlet chamber, under the effect of pressure difference, the top of the
pump head and the pump housing are more exposed to the oil inlet
chamber, so that the inner cavity of the pump housing wears more at this
point, so that the internal cavity and the tooth The top gap increases. As
a result, the difference in pressure between the oil pump inlet and
outlet oil chambers is reduced, which reduces the oil scraping and oil
pressure effects of the gear teeth, reduces the supply pressure, and
reduces the amount of oil pumped. The wear of the pump casing cavity is usually corrected by the inner casing method.
Secondly,
because of the wear of the teeth in the tooth thickness direction, the
meshing gap between the main and forced gears is increased. The wear is characterized by a heavier wear on one side, so that the gear can be turned 180 degrees to use.
Correction of gear pump gear face and pump cover wear
There
is a certain gap between the gear end face and the inner surface of the
pump cover, which is called the end face clearance. The wear of the contact surface between the gear end face and the
inner surface of the pump cover during operation will increase the
clearance of this end face. When the limit is exceeded, the amount of
oil pumped will have a significant effect.
When
the end face of the gear is worn, the end face can be ground flat and
the disassembled surface of the gear oil pump housing can be ground
together to ensure that the end face gap of the pump is within the
requested range.
